This article contains exercises on Cloze Test. Three exercises are given. Answers for each exercise on Cloze Test are given at the end. Worksheets with solutions are very helpful for students. Besides practicing Cloze Test they can also self-check their progress.

Directions for: In the following passage on cloze test, some of the words have been left out, each of which is indicated by a number. Find the suitable word from the options given against each number and fill up the blanks with appropriate words to make the passage meaningful.

One of the first recorded statements of Narendra Modi which was made in the Central Hall of Parliament was that his government would “work for the poor”.
