According to the definition of ERROR CHECKING in English, it is a method of spotting or detecting mistakes in a sentence and correcting the same.

In various exams, error checking or error correction is given for evaluating the aptitude of a student to detect mistakes in sentences or a passage.

 Let us begin with some questions or sentences on Error Detection.

Directions (1-5): Read each given sentence carefully. Find out a grammatical inaccuracy in those sentences, i.e grammatical fallacy. Inaccuracy i.e grammatical fallacy will be in one part of the sentence. The number of that part is the answer. If no mistake i.e grammatical fallacy, the answer is (5) i.e ‘No error’.
